Frontend Interview Guide for Freshers

What to study, in order
1) JavaScript fundamentals (scope, closures, this, prototypes, the event loop, promises). 2) HTML semantics + CSS (box model, Flexbox, Grid, responsive). 3) React basics (components, props, state, hooks). 4) A few machine-coding patterns (counter, tabs, modal, debounced search).
The typical fresher loop
An online JS/DSA assessment, one or two technical rounds on JS + React + HTML/CSS, a small machine-coding task, and an HR/behavioural round. Practise explaining your answers out loud.
How to stand out
Ship one polished, deployed project. Lead resume bullets with impact. Know WHY behind your answers (why const over let, why keys matter) — reasoning beats memorisation.
